Slide-Out Motor Replacement for THOR OUTLAW (Class C Toy Hauler) Dealer service departments will tell you that a grinding slide-out is a sign the entire mechanism needs replacement—labor, parts, the works—and you’re looking at a four-figure bill. Meanwhile, forum threads from owners who’ve handled this themselves say it’s just the motor, swap it in an … Read more

Water Pump Replacement for THOR OUTLAW (Class C Toy Hauler) The THOR OUTLAW’s water pump sits in a tight, awkward space where moisture loves to hide, and when it finally quits—usually mid-trip on a Friday—you’re without pressurized water for kitchen, shower, and toilets until you can get under the rig with tools and a replacement … Read more

Water Pump Replacement for GULF STREAM BT CRUISER Gulf Stream’s factory manuals and the dealer service paperwork won’t mention this: the BT Cruiser’s water pump sits in a tight, damp compartment where corrosion creeps in on the electrical connectors long before the pump motor itself wears out—and by the time you’re standing at a dry … Read more

Slide-Out Motor Replacement for GULF STREAM BT CRUISER The grinding started on a Tuesday morning somewhere in the Arizona low desert—not the usual creak and hum of the slide-out motor engaging, but a metallic shriek that made my stomach drop. I was parked at a BLM site without hookups, and the moment I heard it, … Read more
