Inside every cylinder are seals (o-rings, backup rings) that stop fluid from leaking out around the rod shaft. Years of temperature swings, UV exposure, and pressure cycles crack and harden them. To find bad seals, run each slide out individually while you watch the cylinders from underneath or from inside the room cavity. When someone extends the slide indoors at the control panel, you should see the cylinder rod sliding out—smooth. A healthy rod’s got a thin oil film on it (that’s normal), but if hydraulic fluid is actively dripping or streaming off the rod, the seals have given up. To check the pump: have someone indoors hit any slide button while you put your ear near the pump assembly. A working pump motor whirs and hums, producing that distinctive pumping sound. Hear the motor spinning but no pump noise? The coupling between motor and pump may have separated, or the pump’s seized internally. Complete silence? Step 7: Fluid Replacement and System Bleeding

Crank all slides fully in to pool the fluid back in the reservoir. Pop the fill cap and siphon or pump out as much old juice as you can get.
